How Does One Revoke a Will?

One’s Will can be revoked by stating the intention to revoke the Will in a subsequent Will or by making provisions in a new Will that are inconsistent with the previous Will.  One can also revoke one’s Will by burning, tearing, canceling, obliterating, or otherwise destroying the Will, with the intention of revoking the Will.  Revoking a Will in its entirety revokes that Will’s codicils, if any.  RCW 11.12.040.
